One of the issues raised with me while canvassing in Leen Valley was the excessive vegetation growth at the bottom of Aspley Lane, which was obstructing visibility for motorists emerging from Grassington Road, Lea Croft Road, Homefield Road and Grace Drive.
Following representations to Nottingham City Council, I am pleased that the vegetation has now been cut back, significantly improving visibility and making it safer for drivers and other road users. Addressing hazards like this is important in helping to reduce the risk of accidents and keeping our roads as safe as possible.
